    The Fermanagh Classic Fishing Festival, 2022

    Taking place on Lough Erne, in County Fermanagh from the 9 – 13 May 2022 (Provisional).

Welcome to The Classic Fishing Festival

Classic back in 2022 

At the meeting of the Regeneration and Community Committee on 20 April 2021, it was confirmed that, due to Covid-19 restrictions and guidelines, the Classic Angling Festival 2021 is cancelled.  The Council is planning for the Classic to be back 09-13 May 2022.

The Council is committed to supporting event organisers through sponsorship, training and capacity building whilst promoting an event friendly destination and has an open call for applications for Sponsorship currently open from Monday 26 April to 17 May.  Further information can be found at

The Classic Fishing Festival is organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council in conjunction with the Inland Fisheries Division of the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs.
