The Fermanagh Classic Fishing Festival, 2022

Taking place on Lough Erne, in County Fermanagh from the 9 – 13 May 2022 (Provisional).

Welcome to The Classic Fishing Festival

Classic 2021 Update

Given the continued uncertainty surrounding the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has decided that the Fermanagh Classic Fishing Festival will not take place this May.

The Council is currently in discussions with other angling event organisers to explore the potential of running this year’s Classic competition in September/October time instead.

Those competitors who have already transferred their 2020 entry to this year are welcome to request a refund at this point, or to wait until a decision on a postponement to September/October is reached, at which point their entry will be transferred or refunded.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the shores of Lough Erne when it is safe to do so.

We will notify competitors as early as possible when any further decisions have been made.

The Classic Fishing Festival is organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council in conjunction with the Inland Fisheries Division of the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs.
