CLASSIC FISHING FESTIVAL 2019 (Provisional Schedule)

Sunday 12 May                10.30am – 3.30pm: The Bobby Smithers Memorial Erne Open Championships (draw 8.15am)

5.00pm: Welcome Reception 

Monday 13 May               1.00pm – 6.00pm: Classic Fishing Festival DAY 1 (draw 10am – 11am, Lakeland  Forum)

Tuesday 14 May              11.00am – 4.00pm:  “King of the Erne” Day 1 (draw 8.15 am) or Pleasure Fishing

Wednesday 15 May         1.00pm – 6.00pm: Classic Fishing Festival DAY 2 (draw 10.00am – 11.00am, Lakeland Forum)

Thursday 16 May               11.00am – 4.00 pm: “King of the Erne” Day 2 (draw 8.15am) or Pleasure Fishing

Friday 17 May                 11.30am – 4.30pm: Classic Fishing Festival DAY 3 (draw 8.30am – 9.30am, Lakeland Forum)

9.00 pm (Sharp): Gala Farewell and Prize Presentation (finger buffet) 

 

Classic Competition Details – PLEASE NOTE DRAW AND COMPETITION TIMES

  1. The draw will take place at the Lakeland Forum, Enniskillen from 10am – 11am Monday and Wednesday and from 8.30am – 9.30am Friday.
  2. Printed directions to sections will be available at the draw on each of the competition days.
  3. Competition will be from 1pm – 6pm Monday and Wednesday and from 11.30am – 4.30pm Friday.

 

MASTERS COMPETITION

 

The Masters is a team competition taking place during the three Classic Fishing Festival competition days.  Prizes will be presented to members of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams.

 

Masters Competition Details

  1. Teams to consist of any 4 anglers competing in the Waterways Ireland Classic Fishing Festival 2019.
  2. Entry fee is £40 per team, with 100% payout.
  3. Full teams must be named and registered with the organisers and the entry fees must be paid no later than 6.00 pm on Sunday 12 May 2019. Entries must be submitted on the official entry form.
  4. The top three teams with the highest aggregate weight for the three Waterways Ireland Classic Fishing Festival matches will win prizes.
  5. Any disputes in this team competition will be referred to the Official Referee whose decision is final.

 

THE BOBBY SMITHERS MEMORIAL ERNE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Prizes for Overall Winners

1st: The Bobby Smithers Memorial Erne Open Championships Trophy and £500

2nd: £350, 3rd:  £300, 4th: £200, 5th: £150, 6th: £100

 

Prizes for Section Winners: £50 for the top weight in each five-peg section

 

Competition Details

  1. The draw will take place at the “Fishing Tackle and Bait” shop, Sligo Road, Enniskillen at 8.15 am.
  2. Competition will be from 10.30 am – 3.30 pm.
  3. Entry and Pools: £20.00, by ticket only.
  4. Prize money above is based on entry of 200 anglers.
  5. This Competition is organised by Erne Anglers Angling Club.

Tuesday 14 and Thursday 16 May 2019  WITH A PRIZE FUND OF £10,000

 

Prizes for Two-Day Aggregate Weight

1st:  King of the Erne Trophy and £1,000

2nd: £500, 3rd: £400, 4th:  £300, 5th: £250, 6th: £200, 7th:  £150, 8th: £100

 

Prizes for Daily Overall Winners: 1st:  £200, 2nd: £100

Prizes for Section Winners: £50 for the top weight in each five-peg section
